12PM - 12:45PM The Backwater Blues Band is one of San Diego’s top blues bands, established in 1996. Their authentic repertoire spans rock-‘n’-blues, soul blues, funk, originals, classic rock, and even a touch of outlaw country. Featuring seasoned San Diego musicians—including Tom Stewart, Jimmy Woodard, Peter Harrison, and others—they’ve opened for luminaries like John Lee Hooker and Coco Montoya. They’re a familiar presence at local music festivals in San Marcos, as well as venues like The Belly Up and Gator by the Bay.

1PM - 1:45PM David Sheils and Tim Godwin are members of the acclaimed James Taylor tribute band Never Die Young, which is set to perform at the upcoming music festival in San Marcos. Featuring top-notch musicians including San Diego favorite Paul Castellanos and Albert Williams of the Fabulous Mar Dels, the band blends superior musicianship with a passion for entertaining. With a repertoire spanning decades and styles, they create the perfect soundtrack for any event—whether it’s lively party tunes, cocktail-hour favorites, or crowd-pleasing classics.

4PM - 4:45PM At the music festival in San Marcos, two-time 2024 Best of San Diego Winner in the categories of Best Country Musician & Singer/Songwriter and 2025 San Diego Music Award Nominee Miranda Ramos takes the stage. She is a one-of-a-kind artist who believes that a song isn't just sung, it must be performed. Drawing inspiration from her Country and Rock roots, Miranda's songwriting is honest and relatable. She performs with her full band covering Country's most iconic hits, and as a duo and trio with a focus on Top 40 music that spans all genres.
